This exciting project was comprised of several stages. The collector wanted to commission a special gift for her four year anniversary - we decided to create this surfboard for him. The color palette was specifically designed to represent his favorite colors as well as their shared travels. The Chris Christenson surfboard was hand-picked in a beautiful, smooth bright red.

Throughout the project, I shared images with her to update the progress; some of the beautiful red of the surfboard was left unpainted, to show off the board's original beauty. We also special-ordered vinyl lettering to create a custom message on the back of the board.
